The food is awesome and this restaurant is peaceful and friendly! Best restaurant in Marshall! Who ever gave it low ratings, it wouldn't be Jade Garden's fought. The one giving the low ratings is the ones with the problems.

Some of the worst food I’ve ever had! Saw the server take her hands out of dirty glasses with silverware and pour my beverage! That’s incredibly disgusting! Everything is extremely sticky! The bathroom doors, chairs, tables, etc... The food is usually lukewarm and tastes terrible! This is the last time I’ll be dining here! Very disappointing!

We got take out. My food tased like food from the buffet. I what ordered looked nothing like any place i had ever got food from.(beef and broccoli) a easy dish. I played it safe.gray beef? Had a funky taste like the pans where cleaned but not washed. I hope it was soap! Not hating but dam! At least try!

I've eaten here before over the last few years and would have given it a 3 or 4 star rating based on past experiences. However, todays experience pretty much killed my appreciation of the place. My wife and I both got the buffet. My wife started with a Pork and Mushrooms dish that smelled and tasted "fishy". I don't mean odd, either. I mean it smelled and tasted like fish. She ditched that and went for the Chicken and Broccoli (a safe bet, or so she thought) and experienced the same fish-like taste and aroma. I commented about it to the server/hostess and at first seemed genuinely concerned. She took a piece of the chicken off the buffet and back into the kitchen. A moment later she came back stating they serve no fish and that the food was fine. Meanwhile a young girl who I assumed was a daughter started going on a rant in Chinese with the older lady while giving me nasty looks. I'm in no way fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese dialects and only have a passing familiarity with Korean but I got the jist of the conversation. I tried to cool things off by telling them it was no big deal and I was just commenting, not complaining. I even told them the chicken and pork were both very tender (which is good). Anyway, that's my take on the place. For the same amount of money ($22) we could've gotten a good pizza at Dark Horse. And next time we're in Marshall, we will. Too bad, Jade Garden used to be one of my favorites.

We have been going to Jade Garden for years but today will be the last time that happens. Ordered our meals, however one of the meals Singapore Noodles, included pork which is not listed on the menu. We do not eat pork. I called as asked if it was okay if we brought the dish back to get a replacement and I was told that was fine. I would certainly have paid again if asked. However they took my dish then brought a "new" dish out to me after 5 minutes. Apparently they do not take food allergy or requests seriously. When we got home to have our meal we discovered that there were still pork pieces in the meal. They had essentially just taken out the large pork strips from what they originally gave me and then presented it back to me as a freshly made/"new" serving. This is sad, duplicitous, and potentially illegal. If we had sever allergies our family would be in the ER right now because we did eat a few bites before we discovered the other pork pieces. Dishonesty from the kitchen is not a good business practice and we will not eat here again.
