Okay restaurant. Music was overbearing for most of our visit. Food was tasty, but way too salty. Prices were quite high in respect to the quality of food and service. Service was okay, but not great. Too be expected for most Italian restaurants, though for an area in Michigan that prides themselves on craft beer, the beer selection was poor. (Yes, could have stuck with wine)

We walked into a nearly empty restaurant at 5:05 to find out that reservations had booked the entire place and we would not be seated except for the bar. I inquired what time these reservations were for and let the hostess know we need to leave by six, so it would be a quick meal. She refused to seat us, and told us if we wanted dinner we needed to sit at the bar. We decided to stay and were met with equally bad service at the bar when she found out we would not be ordering cocktails. We look around and the restaurant is still empty. The bartender served us burnt bread and we had to ask for beverage refills after our glasses had been empty for several minutes. Our entrees of pesto gnocchi and chicken parmigiana were good, but certainly did not make up for the lackluster service. As we left more than half of the indoor tables and all of the outdoor dinning area were still empty....

My husband and I were here last night for a wine pairing dinner. It was by far the worst food we have ever had. We have heard good things about this restaurant and were looking forward to trying it. The Cakebread wine was very delicious . If the manager felt comfortable serving the garbage they did last night it doesn't say much for the likelyhood the normal menu is any better. We told our waiter how unhappy we were throughout the dinner with no manager coming to talk to us. It is very unfortunate how bad it was as my husband is in the industry and knows many people.

Been to Volare multiple times with the fam, never had a bad experience. The restaurant exceeds expectations in all areas, but especially when it comes to the food. The pizzas are amazing and the sausage and peppers are a must try. I went for my birthday and had the seafood linguine which was so delicious. Owner Dino is also very warm and friendly.

Volare is the most consistent dining experience. The Filet Mignon is correctly done to your desired temperature every time. No surprises, No excuses, the best dining experience is their the DNA.
