Best Italian north of eight mile. Reservations are required. The servers are very well trained, you will never want for anything. The food quality and presentation are outstanding. Everything on the menu is prepared perfectly. Be prepared to know your stuff as a patron, they don't have time for uneducated guests :-)

Fortunately got seated right away without making prior reservation. But the restaurant itself is very hard to find. Walking in, very nice ambience. Other guests at the bar are always very friendly and enjoy a conversation. Service was decent. Did not like the bread. And pasta too. Sad to say but the pasta was undercooked. The rabit was garnished with so much basil, I could not taste anything else. Not worth for the buck. Would not go there again.

The food was good, not terribly priced. They need a conspicuous sign though. They are in the process of getting ready to move to downtown Rochester Hills however in the interim there is no sign and so we ended up driving around looking for it and finally calling them and still having trouble finding the place. I recommend it least a temporary sign since you are not relocating anytime soon apparently.

We walked in without a reservation on a Friday evening and were seated right then, outside. The food is always delicious, as we have dined here several times. I have to give compliments to Jesse M for being an excellent server and for his professionalism.

The silver spoon in my opinion is the best italian restaurant and or best restaurant in the area. They have staff that are truly professional who know exactly what they are doing which makes the experience so much better. The food is very good I once met Robald Reagan's white house chef there because he was assisting them which was very exciting.
