Our experience here started off nice with a very nice atmosphere and cool decor (which is why I give this restaurant one star, plus the onion rings were amazing). Our food was brought to the table and my pasta salad had an ant circling the bowl over and over. When our waitress asked how the first few bites were tasting, we told her there was an ant on my pasta salad and her response was, “Oh, there is! I’ll be right back.” or something along those lines. She brought a new dish back with pasta salad, which after seeing an ant in mine, why would I want to eat more? A hostess asked us if we wanted boxes and we replied and said no, we were disappointed about an ant being in our food and we had lost our appetite. She replied, “Ew. Do you want me to take away your plates then?” We said yes and we wanted some form of compensation because of how disgusting it was to find an insect in our food. She said the manager comped it. No manager ever came to our table to apologize and our waitress brought our bill without an apology. Very disappointed and will never return.

This is one of our go-to local places. We are especially fond of their large, excellent salads served with unlimited fresh-baked bread. They feature an expansive array of domestic and international beers, and make pretty decent pizza. The relatively small space is dotted with tv's featuring sports games, along with an alcove appropriate for larger parties. They also now have a pleasant small outdoor seating area for the warmer months. The service is outstanding, with fast, efficient, pleasant servers. Despite a high volume, there is never much of a wait. In addition, C.K. Diggs has a website with monthly specials, including an $8.00 BOGO coupon. If there is one downside it is that the place is acoustically loud. In the summer months we try to sit outside.

We love our local bar and restaurant. Tons of unique delicious dinners, daily dinner specials 42 beers on tap. Great staff and a great owner.

Good selection of craft beers and a kitchen but few if any vegan selections

Nice beer list including my favorite, Dragonmead's Final Absolution. The California Pizza was tasty and the special for this evening was well received. Our server, charming and sweet Katelyn, took great care of all our needs. Will go back again.
