Tables too packed in. At their "two tops" you are closer to the stranger on your left and right, than you are to your dining partner on the other side of the tiny table. Hard to carry on a conversation when you hear the voices next to you clearer than your partner's. Husband's French onion soup was way too salty. The clams in my seafood paella had so much grit it ruined the otherwise tasty dish for me. Waiter was prompt and did his job, but was not very friendly. Expected much better for the ratings on line. Not impressive, especially for the process.

We had a lovely happy hour dinner here. They offer about fifteen very reasonably priced small plates for happy hour, and with a party of six we decided to try them all. They were all carefully prepared and tasty, capturing the real taste of French cooking. Wine specials were also great. Don't hesitate to go.

Fantastic from the moment we walked in the door! True French atmosphere, very close seating which led to conversations with the next door neighbors. We had the cheese platter ,which was fantastic, and moved on to the onion soup. That alone would have filled us up, but we chose to make a full dinner of it!! I had the Steak Frietes, which was superb! My husband had the unpronounceable steak, and he was so glad he's did! Our only regret was we didn't have room for dessert. A true French restaurant in Traverse City!!!
