Of all the Thai restaurants we have ever had dinner, the Orchid Cafe is our absolute favorite. My husband and I are addicted to the Pad Thai chicken entree. We only differ on the heat of the sauce. Don't assume they will not give you the heat you crave. When you say mild, it will be mild. If you say medium plus, there will be heat but tears will not be brought to your eyes. I love their summer rolls, the best peanut sauce I have ever had. Do not miss the Hot 'n Sour soup. I normally do not like this soup due to its heat, here I absolutely must have it. My husband loves spicy and the soup works for him, too. The servings will be generous and they never shorten you on whatever you choose as your meat choice. This is a popular and excellent place for Thai food.

Placed order for pick up online. Arrived to pick up food 25 minutes after order. (was told will be ready in 20 minutes when ordered. Then waited an additional 45 minutes until she gave me order. Which was completely wrong ( not even close to the dishes we ordered). Then was told they could remake within 20 minutes. I declined since now it was almost 2 hours since initial order. So, no lunch for us today and wasted 2 hours. Didnt offer coupon, apology, NOTHING.

My favorite Thai place in North suburbs area. The hot and sour soup is so damn delicious. The staff are really friendly. Be ready to wait in line on work lunches but it's for a good meal. Price is really great for the area it's located. Food is yummmmmmmmmy.

The House Hot and Sour soup is what keeps folks coming back again and again... The Bangcock Chicken is done no better anywhere north or south. Highly recommend it. Great Northern Hospitality with the staff as well.
