Was worried about our 1st trip to Dave and Amy's after reading reviews. I have to say the food was delicious . Our waitress did an amazing job and when I thanked her for her prompt service she said it was her 1st solo shift. So great food and fast service

Went for the Easter buffet. When we called to make our reservation there was no mention of the fact that it was $23/ pp and that even soft drink weren't included. I understand this is a new restaurant so they need to work the kinks out, but most of the food that was provided wasn't brunch food. They served some biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and eggs Benedict. There was no toast, jams, jellies, waffles, danishes or any other typical brunch fair. They had ribs that were spot on, and steak made to order that was included in the price. Of the three that ordered, only one was cooked the way it was ordered. Two of us ordered medium well and they came to us rare. They did take them back and cook them right and they were delicious. They also served mashed potatoes, jambalaya, Turkey breast, some ham, green bean casserole, none of which is brunch foods. Bloody Mary's and Mimosas were a reasonable $4 each and very tasty! All and all they did try their best, but they really need to take a look at other places during their brunches and modify their menu. The price, to me, was a bit steep considering there were no drinks, even soft drinks, included. Two adults and one child, with gratuity of $13+ came to $90.

So this is my 2nd review. Had to delete my first one to write this one. We are 100% done with this restaurant. Our first couple of visits weren't that great. The manager contacted me and was very apologetic and even gave me a gift card. We went back a few more times and every time was much better than the last. We went there this morning for breakfast and it will be the last time we ever go back. First the waitress wasn't that attentive even with being slow. My mother got the 2 eggs and hash browns and a biscuit. As she started to eat she noticed a hair in her hash browns. We told the waitress and she said she would get her more without any in it. She came back no more that 3 or 4 minutes later with another plate. She went to put butter on her hash browns and what does she see but another long hair in her hash browns. I asked for the manager and told her about it and that I believe that a fresh plate wasn't even made due to how fast it came back out. She said that if a hair is found that a new plate has to be made, but she would talk to her cook. And 2 minutes later the cook comes out asking what is wrong. As a side note the cook had a baseball cap on and long hair and a full beard. We told him what is going on and he said that he would make us a fresh plate. We told him that all 4 of us were done and lost our appetite. He then asked what they could do to make it right. I told him nothing that we were done. He said how about a gift card. I told him no and he said that they will comp the meal and then walked away. Getting 1 plate with a hair in it is understandable it happens, but a 2nd in a row is unacceptable.

Great food, great service. Everything from the Greek side salad, to the Mac and Cheese bacon burger, down to the fried Oreos. Waitress was fast and very friendly. They were busy, though; we didn't wait too long. Seats were a little cramped but it wouldn't deter is from coming back. They have a salad bar!!! I recommend coming here.

The place looks great. Most of the servers were hustling around and very efficient . But ours...not so much. Couldn't coordinate her tasks. French onion soup was delicious. Fried chicken tenderloins were too. Potato skins...not so much. Crummy ranch too. We will try again and hope for a different server .
