When you decide to go to Black Rock, you go for the experience. I love the atmosphere here. It's sounds crowded and busy but the booths are high enough to give each individual or party their own special place. Customer service was really good though they can come off as a bit bothersome with the frequency of check ups. Cooking the steak was a real treat. Seeing it steam on the plate was really cool. They inform first timers of how long you should keep the steak on the rock that cooks as well as give you a bit of some history on the establishment and how the rock works. Overall, I enjoyed myself. The prices are about what you expect from a steakhouse and their other food look from my wandering eyes looked just as good. Great place to bring a group and to treat yourself.

Very happy with everything about my first visit here! I think everyone should go at least once. The dipping sauces for the steak are DELISH! Also made a last minute decision to try their Mother's Day brunch this year. Everything was tasty and there were several choices. The lobster bisque was on point! And even though they were not accepting any more reservations, we were able to get a seat right when we arrived (right when they opened).

A Carnivores dream come true!!! When you walk in the smoke fills you full of goodness. Denise was wonderful she introduced us to many different sauces. Kobe steak was fantastic the Portabella mushroom salad was out this world. Simple elements mixed and blended together to create complex explosive flavors. I hope we didn't just hit this place on a good day. Thank you Denise!!! Hana C was out this world.

I cannot think of a better place to get a steak short of grilling it yourself. This is especially true if you like your steak rare. You control how done your steak is by how long you cook it on the stone in front of you. If you go, save yourself a few bucks and get the 12 oz sirloin. It's more than enough meat for the average person. Also go light on the sides, you'll want to stuff yourself with the steak.

This restaurant is awesome! The whole experience is really neat with being able to cook your steak on a freakin stone! The steaks were top of the line, very tender and full of flavor. The pretzel appetizer just tops it off! Totally worth it!
