Tried this out as it was right by our hotel. Instead of waiting for a table, we sat in the bar area. Good bloody Mary - comes garnished with sliced cucumber, a large cube of pepper Jack, a piece of beef stick, and a couple of large stuffed olives. Nice atmosphere. Our waiter was a very nice young man. I was excited that they had jambalaya and it was good - just the right amount of spiciness for me. My husband ordered a sandwich and asked to sub asparagus; it was an extra $3.50 for 4 spears of the stuff. Each of our meals were in the $25-$30 range. So on the pricier side. Would eat there again, it's just not somewhere we'd go often. But definitely check it out.

Sadden to post a 1 Star review to my once favorite restaurant in Rochester. The past 3 times I’ve been here the service has been awful for multiple reasons. The service took at least 8 minutes to get our drink order. Longer to get our drinks. Didn’t bring out the correct food. The manager argued with me when they brought out the wrong food. Didn’t bring one persons food, never noticed or asked if everything was okay. Basically the server avoided us like the plague. Great food, but terrible service now. Not sure why this place is still busy.

This place is off the chain in food and awesome waitresses. I am from MS and know what real corn bread should taste like. Well, they make it almost 100 percent. And, their real mashed potatoes is soooo good. Last year as I am a patient at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, I got news that I had a tumor in my pancreas. I sat down and started to bawl. This waitress came over, literally put her arms around me and said You are going to be fine. I stopped crying, ate some of their good food and when I got up to leave, she hugged me so tight. Tonight, I've just eaten at that same restaurant and the same waitress came over and said, I remember you! I informed her that the test were negative and I'm 17 months CANCER FREE! She gave me an even bigger Hug. GREAT FOOD AND GOOD KIND WAITRESSES.

Some of the best food downtown. Wait staff are excellent and quick. Outdoor seating has one of the greater views in downtown Rochester. Not inexpensive, but worth the money. Not a bad plate on the menu. Mushroom soup on Tuesday is a must have. Great for work luncheons.

Some of the best food i have ever had. Be prepared to pay for quality but for the food you get its underpriced. Well earned their restaurant of the town sign.
