The decor and the novelty of a rotating restaurant are amazing. My mother and brother enjoyed their food, but my husband and I hated ours. I was surprised to see a waitress wearing show-all yoga pants. And the bill for a party of four came to $150 (no drinks or dessert). Absolutely not worth the price. Blackberry salad was not light and refreshing, but overpoweringly tangy. Asparagus undercooked and underseasoned. Seafood dish was very spicy and mostly liquid. The potatoes were delicious. Not $8 delicious, though. It's something to see a rotating restaurant, but now that I have, I'll never be back.

Sure go here if you want to over pay for a mediocre boarder line bad meal. First don't get the steak there pieces of meat are terrible. There website is out if date it says 5 dollar martinis but at the table we were told oh that ended months ago yet still on website. The place itself is run down 60s carpet and chairs with burn holes. But don't let the that fool you, you will still pay top dollar for a bad meal. Save you money and don't be fooled by the name and menu. You can get a better meal almost anywhere. Extremely disappointed

Excellent service . Steak was flavorful even though it was cooked Medium instead of Medium Rare. Great Fries and lots of if. Disappointed that no veggie came with it. Texas toast was under the steak instead of on the side. Last but not least the 7 later white cake with cheese cake , raspberry and crumble , was the best cake I’ve ever had. Ambiance and decor were a close second to the views of Lake Superior and Duluth! A special place with an interesting History. JJ Astor was a survivor of the infamous Titanic.

Bucket list place - you need to experience this atleast once in your life. I found it to be very unique and interesting with great food and views. The menu is only two pages long but it seems like the chefs are pros at making the dishes. Riding the elevator to the top floor and into the restaurant was also fun for my 5 friends and I.

Very nice host and waitress. We JUST ate there. Food is one step above McDonald's. Kwik Trip would have been more filling. My over easy eggs came out over hard. At least they didn't lie about the crispy potatoes. They were like eating rocks. Over 50 bucks for breakfast. Total rip off. And here's the kicker.......nobody will listen to your complaint. The Desmond family will NEVER eat this low grade dog food again.
