Love going to this restaurant! There is a very nice selection of food and it's a hearty place for all ages. I have always had great service. The staff is friendly and helpful when we have questions around different meals. I work near by, so have eaten in, taken food to go back to work, and taken food home for dinner. Always delicious and holds well.

Wow, what place to find on an off hour of the day! Stopped by with the family for a quick bite to eat, but found ourselves very comfortable to take our time enjoying the good feels of the atmosphere here. Within moments it felt like home. The service was intimate, non-pretentious, and very child intuitive. The meal is uncomplicated, and offers a variety of option to sate even the picky eater. Their dozen wings are an awesome value, with excellent selection of sauces. For the more daring soul perhaps try their peanut butter burger, it blow my mind with the symphony of flavors working together well. Able to host very large groups, or a small family the Choo Choo Restaurant and Bar in Loretto Minnesota is a must check out location. Come out on the weekend, Sheri is and extraordinary attribute to what makes this place amazing!

Cabbage soup review only... Cabbage soup used to be awesome, what happened? We had it the other day and it was flour water, very little cabbage and tiny pieces of ham. No flavor other than flour. We will never order that again, too bad it was so good, something you would crave. Oh, and they didn't microwave it long enough, it was cold. If it's not fresh, at least to fool us to think it was, heat it up properly. We did have buffalo wings and those were great!

Decent food. Kids liked sitting in the caboose while dining. I had the prime rib and it was above average. We also had the Thai flatbread that was below average and the shrimp basket was, well, shrimp in a basket.
