We've stopped by the cafe 4 or 5 times now. It's a great halfway meeting place for our family for lunch after church. So far pretty good food, occasionally slow see ice when busy and for whatever reason they never seem to get the order 100% correct. Either bring wrong type of fries or toast, etc. Friendly and clean this small town cafe has a lot of staying power because it has good food with all the small town perks.

Waverly Cafe is a wonderful traditional cafe that I've been frequenting for years. It was designated as having the best stuffed hash browns in Minnesota per local TV station WCCO. They're a bit cheesy for me, but I do enjoy their omelettes. After passing on some feedback about the pasteurized processed Swiss slices they had been using for their omelettes, the owner switched to using real Swiss cheese! They also have wonderful cinnamon rolls that you can enjoy there, or order to take home and share with the family. When I needed a place to do some head down studying, I was welcome to park at one of the tables with my laptop and books. It's great place, with great food, great atmosphere, and great staff. I highly recommend it.

Ordered supreme Pizza no mushrooms on one side and other side no black olives. First we receive a pizza that is half mushroom and half black olives...we sent the pizza back and expected them to make us a fresh one as ordered but that was not what we got. Instead all they did was put the missing toppings on the other Pizza, heated it a bit and brought it to us. Was definitely not impressed.

Areas BEST breakfast, hands down!!! Must haves: Stuffed Hashbrowns, BBQ Ribs, Burgers. AAA First Class Service, casual and comfortable atmosphere, you will feel right at home in this small town cafe.

I have given this restaurant quite a few chances. But disappointed every time today it was a Philly sandwich. The meat was fatty and actually had holes in tubes from the vein pretty gross. The bun was hard and the onions and green peppers were diced. That works great for an omelet but the last time I had a Philly the onions and green peppers were sliced so as not to fall off the sandwich. Ordered apple pie ala mode to see if it was any better than the lunch surprise crust was soggy too much cinnamon not enough apples and the ice cream tasted freezer burnt. I'm done
