Nice place! Went for lunch.. kids got to build their own pizzas and desserts which was a HUGE hit. Otherwise had a variety if apps and sandwhiches. Everything was very tasty! Anna was our waitress and she was awesome!! Very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Thanks again Anna!!

Easter brunch buffet was good. Service was less than average. Food was good but it the supply ran low on the buffet line numerous times. It was somewhat disappointing for a restaurant that has been around for awhile and has served many special events and holiday buffets. Finally, it was the way seating was laid out made it awkward and difficult to get to individual buffet stations (carving, desserts, etc.). On a final note, there was no information or guidance to patrons on how the Bloody Mary/drink bar operated. There should have been either no glasses there or some signage to instruct about the process. I saw many people interrupting the bartender for ice, vodka, etc. when minimal information and instructions would have avoided those problems. Overall, the food was adequate but the experience could have been much better.

Slow service. Food is good. Not crowded. Cannot make an old fashioned, even though it's on the drink menu. Not consistent from bar tender to bar tender. They need training for consistency.

Worst experience I've had in a long long time. We had a party of 13 which I understand is a large party for after church lunch. That said it was a slow day and I thought it must have been because of the bliZzard...but I soon found out why it was slow this place sucks! I should have known it was going to be a bad experience when our server took the orders of everyone around the table(including the lady next to me) and then proceeded to take the menus from my girlfriend and I without taking our order. I had to ask him as he began walking away if I could place my order. He acted is if I was inconveniencing him, when he didn't even take my order. I don't go to family lunch to look at my empty glass of coke. Once the food started rolling out the first complaint hit, my girlfriends aunt (who spent years in high end food service) noticed that your 8oz steak is not even close to 8oz she had you even weight it and uncooked it was closer to 6oz before it was cooked. The manager came out and took it away to redo it. Then the other plates began landing....and more troubles kept coming. The drunk and dirty came out raw! Still frozen in the middle not rare RAW! Now I know it's easy to mix those two up because they have the same first two letters but one is cooked and one is going to make you sick! Then grandma got her pork chop and baked potato....now I get that baked potato is tough but hers was burnt and not on the outside but the inside was crispy burnt. To top it off when she mentioned it to your "server" he asked her to put it on a plate and show him what she was talking about because it looked fine to him, excuse me? That thing looked burnt from where I was sitting! To try to make up for all of the just garbage food quality our server kept trying to fill everyone's water glasses which is great....except that one gal ordered sprite and had drank half of it and he filled it up with water. Again easy to confuse the two because they are both clear and fizzy...wait no they aren't. Between the garbage food quality and the god awful service the cherry on top was the bill, now I get that we had a big party and the bill will be higher than normal. But we paid you over $400 for bad tasting under cooked/burnt food and junk service and for some reason people even tipped your fool of a server. Now compare this experience to the one I had when I took my cousin an his friends to the McDonald's on lake street. 9 kids and myself total meal $35 , food fully cooked , person taking my order smiled. Your place is such a joke that not only will I never come back buy I'm going to tell every single person I know and meet to never go to your establishment.

On March 7, I made a reservation for Bonfire - Eagan's Easter brunch for my family - 9 people. On March 30, I called to confirm and the restaurant said yes, they'd be expecting us. We arrived today, Easter Sunday, at 11:25 a.m. and checked in with the hostess. At 11:45, we still had not been seated, and upon asking, the hostess said they were just waiting for a table to clear. At 11:55, we still had not been seated. We had a small child and a gentleman with a cane in our party, and the staff at this restaurant had absolutely no regard for them. At this time, I asked the hostess for a status update, and she said they were just wiping up a table for us. At 12:00 (30 minutes past our reservation time!) they attempted to seat us at two separate booths. Um, no. I don't know how they even considered that would be acceptable. The hostess attempted to give us several excuses. At that time, I asked for the manager. He was the absolute worst manager I have ever had the pleasure to meet, and spent nearly 20 minutes making excuses as to why he couldn't seat us at one of the numerous large open tables. I'm not exaggerating when I say that there were at least three 10+ person tables open. "Oh, but those are for people with reservations in 45 minutes!" exclaimed the awful manager. He seemed to be utterly unable to make a decision and kept walking over to the towards the hostess stand and then back, offering us the same two booths - because everyone wants to spend the holiday with exactly half their family, right? Finally, somehow, 45 minutes past our reservation time, a table magically appeared, amidst promises of discounts on our bill. We were seated. No water or silverware was brought to us until ten minutes after we asked. Getting water glasses refilled was such a hassle, it wasn't even worth it (not our poor server's fault - they clearly put her on too many tables. The food itself was mediocre at best - we expected more than cold eggs and rubbery shrimp for $28/person (not including drinks). No matter - we were all so upset at our treatment that no one was really hungry anymore anyway. Our bill was not discounted. The awful manager never came over to apologize. Thank you, Bonfire Eagan, for ruining my family's Easter. As a longtime customer, I will certainly never return, and would never recommend this restaurant to anyone, ever.
