Awesome egg rolls!!! I had to start with that, and you should too :-) A good selection of toned-down Thai favorites. Authentic enough to be exciting dinner fare, without being intimidating. Call your heat on a 1-5 scale, but check to see who is cooking that day first (one cooks 2 seems like the other's 4).

This place is hands down the best Thai restaurant I have ever eaten at! The food was amazing and they are gluten allergy friendly, they will pretty much make anything on the menu gluten free for you. Very friendly staff. I crave it whenever I think I about this place. Can't wait to go back when I am in the area again!

1st of Thai restaurant is the most authentic Thai and Laotian foods I've had since my being stationed there in the 70's. The owners are wonderful and really do all they can to make your visit outstanding

Not as good as it once was; must have switched owners. The only good thing about First of Thai anymore is their egg rolls. Portions are small, prices are higher, the chicken is hard, and the service is below par. The one waitress they had working the last time I visited was 10 minutes late to work and was scrambling to take orders and get food out on time when she arrived. The employees working before she got there never even offered us a drink. Very disappointing as this used to be one of the best spots in Faribault. Chances of returing are slim.
