Great lunch today at Zella's!! We've never been disappointed by the service or food. Thanks! We'll be sure to come back. 🙂

the burgers are second to none, i would advise coming at lunch it's less crowded and cheaper, the staff is attentive and diligent my server today was especially exceptional i believe her name was Britney; so a shout out to her. Aside from the previous points the atmosphere is rather enjoyable, posh enough to feel like a legitimate day out, yet warm enough it never feels like you are unwelcome for your attire (casual for lunch, business casual or better for supper). Over-all a rather nice place, will there never be better? Of course not, there will and have been better places but for Hutchinson and St. Cloud I've not eaten better. p.s. They have easily the best fries I've ever eaten.

For a small town local restaurant this place rocks. And the gluten free pizza was fabulous. To bad we moved.

Zella's was a very busy country small town establishment trying to mimic an upscale restaurant in a big city. The food was tasty, (I had the Reuben, with beer battered fries), the portions were hardy and the service prompt and friendly. They have a varied wine, mixed drinks and beer menu as well. However, the dessert service was limited and the presentation was bland. I had the caramel cheese cake, a dense concoction that tasted not a thing like caramel. The portion was large enough but the poor thing looked lonely and out of sorts with the miniscule blobs of whipping creme. ( Visit the Cheesecake factory for a lesson in how to plate cheesecake appetizingly). I get it, every small town needs a place that they can wine and dine out of town guests. Zella's is it. The decor is an eclectic mix of antique chandeliers, wall sconces and in ceiling lighting. It has dark wood, stone, and burgundy wall coverings and pseudo tin ceiling tiles. I don't know, maybe there were three different businesses and the decorator kept the lighting and just tied it in with the ever present burgundy wallpaper At the back of room it has the requisite fireplace for deep winter coziness. Although they've changed the ambience with a river stone wall that juts out from the wall conspicuously. It has huge towering booths meant as a separator between the informal bar area and the formal dining room. It is a large restaurant with a wine room and good sized bar and everything is clean, orderly, polished to a sheen. And right in the middle of all this are these big over stuffed easy chairs clustered around a commode table. This is clearly a place in identity crisis mode. Trying to be all things to all people. All in all It was a pleasant experience
