Update: Went today and the service was better then it has been in the past. Drinks and food were fast and great. Our server was checking in often but not annoying at all. We'll be back more often now. Previous review: Food and prices are good. When it is slower there are almost always 3-4 or more on the clock employees hanging out around the bar loudly chit-chatting about how hammered they got the night before. That gets annoying when you are waiting to order, need something or if you don't actually care about their hangover.

I have eaten a lot of Mexican food. But these guys have a burrito that goes beyond what I call food into food heaven. Cheese sauce over the top instead of the regular sauce makes this so amazing. If your hungry or want something to fill you and have lunch tomorrow go here. Amazing good place to eat. Good staff, very attentive, amazing cooks. Nice night out.

It was splendid- the mgr waited on me first as her waitress was occupied with finishing up her other tables. The transition from greet to eat was exceptional- especially during lunch time (late lunch for me). I order the grande burrito special with both steak and chicken- i recommend it! I was given the usual chips and salsa within 7 minutes of sitting and my food was out within the next 5 minutes. Prompt service as it has been over 5 years that I have been here. Thank you Acapulco Restaurant- your friendly neighborhood mexican! Andrew G

Restaurants live and die by their food and service. Acapulco has excellent service (other than a front attendant who seems to be absent nearly every time I've visited) from the moment you're seated until the moment you leave. I've had many servers and they are all consistently attentive regardless of how shorthanded and busy they are. When it comes to the food, the food is excellent and delicious. Generous portions, hot when it comes out, and leaves you begging for more once you've finished your plate. The only thing I'm able to possibly complain about are the uncomfortable booths, missing front attendant, and the "bar" atmosphere. They're currently undergoing some renovations so maybe some of these things will be remedied.

Stopped by on Cinco de Mayo staff was super friendly, particularly our server Hannah - best ever. And some good specials. They did it right.
