Incredible food. Which is truly the most important metric. One of the top 3 steaks I have ever had(the other 2 were in Florida and cost $20 and $60 more than this one, making this one at Lovechild the best for the value) and by far the best Lamb I have ever eaten. Along with one of the most unique salads(Apple) I have experienced. Wait staff were very attentive and personable, but not to talkative that it felt like they were keeping you from talking to the people you were there with. Portions were very good. This biggest worry when experiencing fine dining is, "will i actually be full?" Not a worry here, I left totally satisfied. This place is a gem and one of the best places to eat in Wisconsin.

Great food and great atmosphere. Went with a co-worker and we sat at the bar to get the happy hour specials. The food and wine were both amazing. Would definitely recommend to others.

I had the best meal! Polenta, greens, apple salad. I can't even describe the meat. Melt in your mouth. Delicious. I think I could eat this meal every single day. Waitress was very nice, efficient. I didn't care for couch. I haven't had polenta in ages. I'm going to start making again. Best meal! 100 stars.

Such a great place to eat. You can tell they take service to the next level. My first couple experiences were months a go with my girl friends. The crescent shaped seating offers a lot, and opens you up to a lot of the atmosphere of the place. It kind of keeps your conversation open and engaging. Later, I had Tara as a server and legit she ended up being facebook friends with my mom by the end of our dinner. Just the overall service was next level. I got to meet Joan the owner through this experience. Being a photographer it just made me want to take photos of the food. I asked Joan if she would let me and sure enough I came back to take some!
