This place is a welcomed addition to the area. Most of the restaurants in the Lake City and Red Wing area are only so-so. The Lake House has the quality of places in the Twin Cities. The view is fantastic, the servers are great, and the food is delicious!

Stopped in for Sunday brunch and it was delicious and the view of the lake was amazing. Nothing better than enjoying breakfast while watching out over the lake. Highly recommend.

Great lake view on patio. Reasonable service. Perfectly cooked steak and fried Walleye. BBQ beans and baked potato also good. Prices okay.

Tonight, me and my family went to the Lake House. This was our second time, the first time we were seated and were there for 20 minutes without a server coming to us. ANYWAYS, this time we were seated immediately and greeted shortly after. Our server was AMAZING. We ordered chicken wings and onion things. Our chicken wings were NOT cooked thoroughly and the onion things were basically a basket of burger toppings. They took the wings off our ticket. Our food comes out, my husband's TWENTY FOUR DOLLAR STEAK was damn near paper thin, way too salty and burnt tasting. My BBQ burger was entirely tasteless and soggy and my daughters grilled cheese, the cheese wasn't even melted -__- we literally took a couple bites and asked for our check and asked to speak to manager. Our check was around $60. The manager ARGUED with us about our complaints, said that he saw no pink, that they BAKE the wings and then DEEP FRY them to order (ew) and That they don't use salt in their steak seasoning. When we told our server about the wings, she asked if they were under cooked before my husband could even finish telling her himself so CLEARLY this hasn't been the only time. EXTREMELY unsatisfied and will NOT ever be returning. By far the worst restaurant in Lake City in my opinion.

Saturday 5pm prime rib was very good. The cheesy potato/bacon soup tasty. The barbaque ribs had a wonderful zesty sauce. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing. The view of Lake Pepin, Wow! Great dinner!
