The server we had while outside enjoying a drink and an appetizer was awesome! (Dark hair in pigtails). Once we moved indoors we had a server who was an "in your face" type of gal (dark hair pulled up and a bit loud). The pan-fried walleye which typically has a crunchy coating. This was a bit soggy.

A classic place for lunch in Victoria. Near the lake, parking on the street, cozy inside with great service. The pepperoni soup is worth the visit by itself, but the sandwiches and burgers are solid. They do accommodate children, but in my previous two lunch visits, no children were present.

The coffee and tea were great. The people were so interesting and fun to talk to. I enjoyed experience.

I've gone here many times over the years with a group of fellow volunteers at Carver Park Reserve, mostly for lunch. Staff is always very pleasant and accommodating and the food is very good and served in large portions. The tiny town has become 'gentrified" over the past few years, which is sad, but this place stays true to its past!

Over eaten here several time and have not been disappointed. The food is good, portions are right, and the staff is friendly. As to the atmosphere, it's fun and cozy. Highly recommended.
