Bad service, today. Waited over 20mins. to even get acknowledged.Ordered our food, and an hour later, it still wasn't at our table. Other people who came in after us, were served. So we got up to leave, said we had waited long enough. We're told the food was just about to be served!! The waiter never turned around to acknowledge us, or say sorry or anything!! He was a big "dick" about it! Won't go back!!

Had a great small town lunch today at a well known place with a long time friend of mine who drops by when in the area for the "Noon" hour! He's my Farrier (in case you don't know what a "Farrier" is... He's a Horse Hoof Shoe-er & Trimmer) and when he had finished taking care of my horses it was "Lunch Hour!" So I asked if he wanted to have lunch with me since I was off today... To the Flip Side Bar & Grill we went! Walking in the front door may catch you at a bit of a surprise... You're greeted by a few set of steps that then opens up into the "pub & grub" area of the place with black & white parquet flooring. Love it! Also, don't be surprised if the locals turn and gawk at you for a few seconds...just give them a nod and a smile and they'll go back to what they were doing. Our service was wonderful. Good people in a good small town... My friend ordered the BLT ($6.00) with Onion Rings (2.25) and I ordered the Flaming Flipside 1/3lb Burger ($7.00) with French Fries ($1.75). My friend "cleaned his plate" however, I could barely finish my amazing burger and sadly had to leave some french fries behind! All in all... Take the time to stop in, have some fun and enjoy some good "Local Bar Food!"

We used to frequently visit FlipSide while we lived in NP and loved the food, breakfast being my favorite. Once we moved we only make it to Flipside once every month or two. My two children, my husband, and I ate here yesterday during the end of church rush. So we knew what to expect and it being busy. When we walked in there was only one table open and it was dirty. We waited awhile and no one came to clean it so I asked the bartender for a rag. He said sure but never gave it to me. So we sat down and waited. Then a lady came to wipe it down and take drink orders. The food did take close to a hour to get our food which was longer than I have experienced. Our food was lukewarm to cold when we recieved our food. They must have changed syrupys because it is really blah, thin, and in a different container. Ham is usually my favorite and I look forward to it. Well not this time. It is more than half as thick as I would previously get. This time the ham slice was much smaller, dry, and there were pieces of it that I weren't able to chew because they were too chewy. There was not once the server came back once we received our food. I was a little disappointed to be honest. I seen a sign saying they were hiring. So if you brought back the other syrup and other ham plus hired another cook and server we'd be golden!

I had a business breakfast here last week. The food was great the service was good. Casual atmosphere and a breakfast favorite for the locals. Driving by you may not realize it is a great place for breakfast.

Great little hometown stop. Toby Kieth..." I love this bar" bout sums it up.
