by far my favorite Mexican restaurant out there. AUTHENTIC tacos, real homemade tortillas and their refried beans are a family fav as well. We are from south of the river and travel just to eat here. The owner is always super nice and they are quick, great for a lunch break! Hard to find real Mexican (not Americanized) food around- def worth every penny!!

Still the best Mexican restaurant in Minneapolis. In case you were wondering. The owner is awesome; super friendly. I love the chicken tinga here. It's the best. I usually get the 3 taco combo. The rice and beans are delicious as well, not just decorative like at other places. The burritos here are fabulous as well. They're quite large, so come hungry or take some home for later. Two people could share a burrito, but then I might recommend a small side of some sort, depending on how hungry you are.

I love El Ranchito!!! My boyfriend and I have been coming for about 3 years now.. twice a week! The chicken tacos (add sour cream and cheese) and steak tacos, shrimp tacos, chorizo tacos ARE THE BOMB! As well as the burritos and nachos. You will not be disappointed 🙂 & Juan, the owner, is the best too!

Small restaurant feel with authentic food! Didn't mind the decor because the food was so good.

My brother and I have been waiting for 50 minutes for our food and there are only 7 guests in the restaurant. Had to tell them our order a second time because it seemed like they forgot. Aparantely the food is great, but this is rediculous.
