I am not a sushi expert but Mizu goes above and beyond. I truly love the food and drinks but the best benefit is the service! The good is always good but the staff and owners are always very happy and great to talk too. If you're looking for something different in the North metro this is your place. Their other restaurants Aqua and The Meet Market are just as good.

Updated review. We went last week and it was amazing! Fish was delicious and super fresh. We loved everything we had. Raw oysters were delicious! So glad to have a new fave sushi place! Old... Unfortunately, not great. The miso soup was good, and the location is awesome. But, the sushi was very average, and the simple tuna roll we had tasted overwhelmingly of mayonnaise. Sigh. Really wanted to love it.

Best Miso I’ve ever had. Chefs are wonderfully conversational. Sushi is very good. Very nice clean space with lots of windows. Japanese whiskey based cocktails are well crafted.

Jordan and Josh on the SUSHU reel..BOOM..Does not get much better than that. Great food and atmosphere. Our server was Dan.. Awesome, energetic, and polite guy. Thanks for a great date night. We will be back.

Very nice location with views of the lake. The service was good and would be a nice place to go for just a cocktail or glass of wine. It is quite expensive with small portion size. We were not impressed with the fish it did not seem fresh and the salmon sashimi was slimy and smelled "fishy". Spicy tuna rolls had very little tuna and the rice was not sticky enough to hold the roll together. However the wagyu tataki was very good, just tiny. We were not impressed when we went last summer but they were very new so decided to give it another try. We won't be back.
