We stopped not knowing they are closed on Mondays! Pulled to drive thru and was greeted by Mr. Hicks. He informed us that they were closed but what did we want. Told him tamales and that we were from Little Rock AR. How many he asked? Four dozens! Oh we can take care of that for you with a big pleasant smile. Took care of us in timely fashion. Got them and he gave us his business card and told us he could have them delivered to our front door or anywhere in the USA anytime! We will definitely be returning! Thanks Mr. Hicks!!!

Oh man - can’t say how awesome this place was. Persist in trying to get the nice man to open the door or window for you and be rewarded with the best tamales I’ve ever had. The sides were also outstanding, especially the slaw.

The BEST tamales ever...who would have thought a little restaurant in Clarksdale Mississippi!

Never had tamales before - they were awesome as well has a chili topping (I think) - after we were told how to eat them! BBQ was also real good. No other restaurants were open on July 4th 2017 (other than fast foods) and we saw the drive thru and thought we would try it. The owner told us to come on in (even thought they had just closed), sit down and look over the menu - no hurry, just TONS of hospitality. We loved it. Thanks for making our 30th anniversary special!!
