Worst customer service I have ever received. I have eaten here 4 times in the last 2 weeks and each time I have sent my food back because it was not fresh. I can go to fast food to receive cold food. When I ordered my food and it came out my fries were cold and as soon as I sent them back the guy who had cooked them said he just took them out the grease. We all know that when you remove fries from the grease they are steaming and you can barely eat them. I then sent my burger back because my burger appeared to be microwaved because my cheese was the only thing hot. After waiting 3 or 4 minutes the same guy (appeared to be the owner/manager) came out and opened the cash register took money out and came to my table. He didn't say I'm sorry or what can we do to make this experience better. He simply, threw my money on the table and said, "people order everyday from here and out of all of them, you are the only one that complains. Here is your money, you can take it and buy you something to eat elsewhere." What happened to customer service and making things right when we make a mistake? I didn't argue, fuss or fight. I calmly explained that I didn't want my money back and that I just wanted fresh, hot food. He proceeded to walk off. WOW. What happened to "SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY? I will NEVER eat here again and would advise EVERYONE to not eat here because the scenario appeared to be racist. I don't want to pull the race card but I left thinking it still exist at Steven's Bar-B-Q. I am still in disbelief to wonder how could you run a business on those types of values and beliefs? I've never been so in shock and disrespected in my life. Please take your business elsewhere because the food is not made fresh to order and customer service doesn't exist.

I have had brisket from coast to coast and this is the best! Great food, friendly folks, great value, nice atmosphere. This is the real deal! Love it!

Sorry....should have been a 5 star. Good home style food, plus great BBQ.

One of the best restaurants in Greenwood MS the BBQ is awesome but the home cook buffet is even better that's cooked and served by the little short lady behind the buffet table. She makes you want to come back everyday with her southern hospitality. A very old fashion southern place, with great staff.
