We went to Georgia Blue in Hattiesburg has a nice atmosphere the food was okay but we didn't get it a lot. All we got were the appetizers but my sister says she goes there often. She said the steaks are awesome. We went at 3:30 in the afternoon there was not that many people there and the service is great. It has a good atmosphere and they let you take home the beer glasses if you get draft beer. I would recommend it for a family.

Tl;Dr - Average food; pricey menu. Not being from the area, we wanted to try something local. This place seemed to fit the bill. But speaking of bill, we felt that while the food was good for the most part, the prices were a little high for what you get. Also, they wanted to charge for extra chips to give enough to finish up the cheese dip entree. Could be ok except the cheese dip was already $10. Fortunately the server handled that for us. They have live music on weekends and the singer was good but the volume was so loud it made it difficult to hear table conversation. The mashed potatoes are loaded and double baked and taste good but had a burned crust on the bottom that detracted from the flavor. Can't say I'd recommend it to others.

If you get a great server, the experience will be lovely! The food is excellent and the restaurant brings a great vibe. It's a good place to go, especially with a big party.

Okay place overall. We split the spinach dip between four of us, and definitely ran out of chips to use as there was only enough for two of us vs everyone. Food is a little bit on the pricey side but to me is similar to most other seafood places that I’ve had since I had the Mac and cheese with shrimp and crawfish. Portion sizes for food is nice and large though. They do have a live music thing that apparently comes in on weekdays which they should warn customers about as we had a group and they sat us right next to the stage before the singer for the night showed up (btw the restaurant was not even halfway full on a Saturday evening). We could understand each other right until he showed up and after that we pretty much couldn’t talk to each other since no one could hear anything but him singing. Overall I think the place is okay, if you don’t mind paying for food on the higher side. I likely won’t be back though.
