We eat here alot and for the most part the food is good. The service isn't great all the time and today they didn't have any smoked chicken???, not sure why if that is one of there menu items. I told them my order was to go and added a few side items. My food was not brought out to go nor did it contain any of the extra side items I paid for. Make sure to check your order. This isn't the first they have shorted me.

The owner and staff are friendly. I ordered the large rib plate with onion rings and beans. Onion rings was an upcharge. The sauce is fantastic. However, the ribs were dry. The bark on the ribs were so hard and splintered. Think beef jerky. The portion was a little small to be called a large plate. I'm guessing the ribs were cooked early in the day and overcooked in some warmer all day perhaps. The beans seemed like canned pork and beans with some sauce mixed in. The onion rings were great but not substantial enough for an upcharge. Sorry. I wanted to like it more. I may go back for some other items.

Myself and my co-workers went in and yelled at for not ordering quick enough and asking to know what sides were available. The old lady was a smart ass said she really didn't want to serve us and they didn't need our business. I called the owner Brian and told him about her attitude he had many other complaints but we had no other help but to keep her this is a sorry response from the owner if you don't want business good you promised to make it right and havent. I advise all to go to dickies.

Brisket sandwich was awesome. Moist and not overdone with just the right amount of sauce! Second time eating here and each time was great.

Never Again This was my first time going to Tay's and I have to say there wasn't a warm welcome walking in . The staff was rude and rushing me to order. Once I got my food I was disappointed the meat was dry and didn't taste like much and the sides.. oh don't get me started I got Mac and cheese that taste like it was in a box for so long and the Cole slaw tasted like I was just eating raw cabbage with no flavor . Will not be returning to this place too many places that serve good bar b questions for a fraction of the price .
