Best restaurant in Oxford and one of the best in the country. Interesting spins on southern US cuisine with an Indian twist. Way beyond your typical shrimp and grits. The menu changes seasonally so I'm always excited to go when the new menu comes out. Great service as well. Ample parking.

Ordered off the spring 2018 menu. The steak frites is fantastic, a perfectly-cooked hanger cut, tender with a great charred crust.. The goat curry is great with tender goat meat and an incredible amount of flavors. The black eyed peas fritters were disappointing, not a whole lot of flavor and seemed burned from too much time in the fryer. The upside-down banana Foster's is one of the best desserts I've ordered anywhere. Snackbar is one of the must-visit restaurants in Oxford.

This place is probably great if you aren’t a vegetarian or vegan. However, the pure vegetarian options available on the menu are mostly limited to french fries and nothing else. Even the salads have bacon and eggs.

The entire restaurant group is inadequate. If this was a city with multiple options this place would never make it. Since we are a small town and rely heavily only this restaurant group it would be nice if one restaurant at least offered a single option for people who don't want meat in every single dish.

The best restaurant in town.
