If they say that they have been out of mashed potatoes since 3 that afternoon, thank your server kindly and leave. I know that sometimes you can't change the fact that your restaurant will be short handed. Instead of having a buss person clean up tables, maybe on a day like that the servers could carry dishes back as needed. I know servers don't get paid much but, I think it would help everyone out. My server was friendly. I just wish they could inform you about being short handed and, then customers could have more understanding as to why it is taking so long.

Don't go there if you're on a schedule or hungry now. We waited ten minutes to have our order taken. Fifty minutes later, we had no food yet, and my husband asked to speak to a manager. It's thirty minutes later, and still no manager. The food is good, but it's not worth this wait.

I love Cracker Barrels Breakfast and you get your money's worth. You will never leave out of there hungery. The Dinners are nice also. I love the Fish meals. You get to pick what you for side dishes and plenty of drink refills.

Service was terrible! First visit was great so went back for another. Waitress was inattentive . Didn't get drinks for 17 minutes and then after watching 3 other tables get their food before us we still hadn't received ours. Manager was lackluster and not as emphatic as he should have been with a family with a young child. Doubt highly if we'll return or recommend

Worst experiance I have ever had at a Cracker Barrel. We waited about 15 minutes to be seated which is normal and then the real wait began. It took almost an hour to get our food, which was wrong and had to be fixed. We had no silverware and my wife had to go ask for it. Anything we asked for entailed a wait. It took over 10 minutes after asking for our check before we got it. We were there 2 hours after being seated. The people next to us asked to see a manager and were told he was too busy. They left without touching their food.
