PATRON

Waited too hours yesterday outside they didn't call me. Had a group if 7 people. I guess past bad food and now this non call while waiting. They need to close. They use to be good but 2 years ago food changed. Many families stopped going because of terrible food in a place where it use to be incredible.

I was at a dinner meeting held in their private room. The food and service were excellent. The entire restaurant was very clean and the decor is charming. I especially liked the individual loaf of bread served with olive oil for dipping. Authentic Italian! I want to go back and try more of their menu.

It is not a restaurant you want to miss! It looks like it's in a run down building from the outside. Once you get in, it is charming. Like a little village. The food came out hot and delicious. The menu was a little on the basic side. Overall, great value for very good food!

Always been a favorite. Not this time! Was served the bread, but waited about 15 minutes to get the cheese to sprinkle in the olive oil. Then got the meal and needed more bread. By the time we could finally tell her, we were done eating by the time it got there. Was never an offer for more coffee. They were not busy at all about 3 other small tables. Was great walking quickly with their back to you. So sad!

We've gone occasionally to Cannoli's for 20 years or more. Until our last visit, it was always great. I don't know what's happened in the kitchen, but almost everything was terrible except the bread and salad. My mother's fish (and chips) was quite literally inedible. My seafood ravioli was actually *cold* -- not lukewarm or room temperature, but cold, as if it had been taken from the refrigerator or freezer and insufficiently warmed up. I think my sister's chicken modiga was okay (that was always one of their signature dishes). I hope they fix whatever the problem is and soon. I spoke a few days after our dinner with the owner of an excellent restaurant in the area, and she said that she's heard complaints like ours from several other diners recently. Cannoli's is a very cute restaurant, decorated with facades to simulate an Italian street, and the waitstaff are still pleasant and attentive. There aren't very many restaurants in Florissant anymore that aren't fast food or other chains, so I'd hate to lose this one, but we won't be going back anytime soon, and probably not until we hear that there have been drastic changes in their kitchen.

Very lovely Italian themed restaurant. Aside from the ceiling it feels like you are dining on a street side. The food selection is fairly standard Italian but is all very tasty.
