The room was fine other than the tub being dirty. The docs were falling apart, while walking on them my friend put her foot through one of the boards. My daughter lost her phone on the trip and when we asked the front desk the woman working it was very rude and acting like doing her job was a complete chore.

The Orleans Trail Restaurant has a good variety of food to choose from and it tastes as good as it looks. The waiters and waitress are always willing to serve and help out in any way they can. Very good service overall.

Don't know what the food is like. We were seated when they only had 4 other tables. Are table of 6 only got one round of drinks, had to order directly from the bar waiting to make another order of drinks because we we're waiting to make our food order. After one attempt to another waitress to get our waitress and another to get any other waitress we left our cash on the table for our drinks and left never making our order. We we're there over 45 minutes.

I absolutely loved the filet mignon and shrimp special last night, they did a good job. I did not mind the wait because they were serving a large wedding party in the bar, it was their first Friday night of the season with a new chef. Today I came back for breakfast and enjoyed the Angus Benedict and coffee, they are now serving Dubuque coffee which is a major improvement to the standard cafe coffee. Service was great too!

Well besides the ants, veiled threats for beloved towels and late night partying it was an ok place. Laying down and looking at the ceiling I thought I was on LSD or something, weird wavy contours left you wonder how long the roof might stay in place. Perfect location for a slasher/kids camp movie. Fairly inexpensive, so if you need to crash for the night it will work. Oh did I forget to mention that the beds have more "swayback" than a 20 year old rented mule? Jeff
