This place is without a doubt authentic Mexican cuisine. Their menu covers all of the essentials and has lots of meat options to go along with them. They keep it simple for the most part, with really fresh veggies, tender and juicy meats, and salsas on the tables. I wish the flavors jumped out at me a little more, but you can still expect delicious food with huge portions. Margaritas are very good as well. Overall, Durango has an enjoyable atmosphere with very friendly service.

A decent sized place, hosted and run by a family. Food is typically very good (been there many times). It's also clean and friendly. About the only downside would be drink prices. No free refills on soda. Margarita prices are a bit high as well (though they are compensated by size).

I love this place and eat here fairly regularly. The food reminds me so much of my childhood in North Texas. The flavors are spot on, the restaurant is clean and the service is friendly. While I feel like you might find better individual items on Cherokee St., I have yet to find a better overall Mexican restaurant in the St Louis area.

Good food and the service was good for a long time, but recently there's been new waiters there. It's really obvious that they make sure the Spanish people get served first while other races of people have to wait an extended period of time for service. Very disappointed this was my favorite spot until recently.

I've had several meals here and never been disappointed. Authentic tacos with chips and salsa are very good. Service is always fast and friendly.
