Very cute decor, looks like an old fashioned diner right out of a movie. The milkshakes are really good, topped with real whipped cream. The grilled chicken sandwich I had was perfectly done, and their house chips are tasty. Good kids menu, and very kid friendly. Our server was quick, polite, helpful, smart and attentive. I'll definitely be back.

After many months in which I passed Cafe Manhattan via vehicle, a friend and I decided to stop in the restaurant for a quick dinner. When we entered the restaurant, the waitresses immediately and politely greeted us. The menu selection included your typical American fare: salads, burgers, sandwiches, and milkshakes. Overall, the food was of good quality. The table service was attentive and timely. Last, the restaurant's front of house was clean. I'd recommend Cafe Manhattan to families, friends, or even solo diners.

Nice meal. BLT had enough Bacon to make it tasty. Maybe a little heavy on the dressing on the salad, but otherwise yummy!

I love this little retro cafe / sandwich shop with all its vintage signs and bric-a-brac. It's small, but that's part of the allure, and the menu features some really distinctive sandwiches. And for Clayton, prices are pretty good. There's a small parking lot that fills quickly, so you might find yourself parking on-street and walking a block.

I wish this place was more popular. The vintage Americana decor and delicious soda shop inspired food are absolutely fantastic! Strongly recommend a burger and a shake - an American classic! Only complaint is that parking can be a little tough during busy hours. Hardly a reason to not try it out!
