I have been coming to Petite since my junior prom 1983. Anytime I had a special occasion this is where I chose to celebrate it. I actually proposed to my wife there in 1986. It simply isn’t the same place. The menu has changed which I dislike. The twice baked potato’s are not good. Service has always been good. The atmosphere has changed. I’m just not impressed with the changes that the new ownership has made. Of course this is just my opinion.

Great date night. Amazing server and bartender. Will come back again soon, keep up the good work.

We've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed! The aged steaks are absolutely mouthwatering and cooked to perfection... every time. We love that this is still an upscale establishment. The only place in town where you can be seated at a table with cloth tablecloths and linen napkins. The utensils are heavy and quality. We also love the art and decor of this very old building. If you're looking for a special place for date night... this is it! Yes, the prices ate a little higher but I would happily pay the price for real food and quality service!

This is an interesting place to visit. The ambience is turn of the century Victorian with eclectic decor. Fits the neighborhood. The waitress was friendly, the food was actually pretty good. It's a meat oriented restaurant and seafood was lacking quality. Grilling seems to be a favored prep style which I like. Since the meat was good I gave this place a decent rating. BUT, this is not high end dining. There is a cook in the back, not a chef. Presentation was not an emphasis and sides were limited or ala carte. My rack of lamb was great and made how I like it. But there was nothing else on the plate. The risotto was like warm and needed a trip to the microwave. Our waitress worked hard but did not deliver a high end experience. Plates, silverware glasses all seemed like flea market funds my mother had in her kitchen in the sixties. I don't think the owners have experience in true high end work and it shows. BUT, I will go back. The meat is great, the service is trying. They just need some leadership. With expectations set, I will look forward to the veal, bone in ribeye or lamb ragout next time. Recommended.

Unbelievable awesome place located in a small town. Offering an awesome martini menu along with escargot, artichoke hearts, and several other appetizers. I had the Kobe filet for the main course and it was fantastic. Service was perfect and very attentive even when it got busy. Overall this is an establishment you need to try.
