A couple weeks ago I had a bad experience at Morning Day Cafe. Friend had made reservations for his birthday at 11:00 AM on a Sunday for about 10 people. Despite all of us being there on time we still had a 45 minute wait, which was painfully made obvious as there appeared to be very little food coming out, waiters running around, and/or people leaving. Once we got seated, it took about 15 minutes for the waiter to come over to get us drinks, and he didn't even ask for our orders at the time. The non-hot drinks came out about 10 minutes later and he took the food orders. 20 minutes later were the sides/salads/etc and all the 'hot' drinks, which were all cool by then. Another 30 minutes later the food finally came, and those who had hot plates were lukewarm. Instead of staying there for an extra hour for them to re-fire the food, we just ate and decided to never have a gathering there again. I thankfully had a salad, which was good, but not spectacular, and definitely not worth the time invested. In all we were there for nearly three hours. Worst experience I've had at a restaurant in a long time, and I wish I wasn't forced to tip them 20%.

My new favorite restaurant! Wonderful food! Fantastic atmosphere! Great service! I am a vegetarian and they have several meatless meals on the menu. Perfect!

Delicious, nutritious, sustainable and locally sourced. This is my favorite brunch spot. Coffee and yummy local produce and meats. Vegan and vegetarian and gluten free options galore. We're so thankful for this place in our town.

Good food. Services was a little awkward. Cool outdoor little alternate dimension. Overall pretty decent little breakfast joint.
