Smoky! We gave this a chance given the other reviews, and stopped on our way through. Was sort of shocked that inside smelled like an ashtray - haven’t been in a smoking restaurant for nearly 15 years. Nonsmoking is in front, and is half the area of the smoking area. Service was excellent- friendly and fast. Place is clean and not nearly as scary as the exterior suggests! (I was a bit worried as I walked up - no joke!) The food was very good. Basic home style country food but everyone in the family found it tasty! Only loses a star from the smoky interior. My husband liked the coffee - I did not. Prices were fantastic though

First time to visit this restraunt. I travel a lot in route sales and it is tough to find simple, tasty "home cooking. " Found it here. Service was great. Met Mike and Janet, the owners: really friendly. Next time, I am going to try the smoked chicken or ribs. They smoke it in house and I missed this dish on menu.... darn it. Trust me, drive past the junk food places and enjoy a good meal in a friendly, clean, happy environment.
