People were so nice. I was so excited to come here but I was down to 3 choices on the menu and I got chicken and dumplings. While they looked good and was fresh it was so salty I didn't eat it all. I'm not know for putting salt on anything after it's cooked except eggs but I tolerate almost all fast food which is high in salt but this was too much. I'm gonna give it another shot and see if it's a consistency issue. Otherwise beware of the chicken n dumplings.

Stopped here with our group of 31 for lunch in April of 2018. The staff quickly had us seated in an area that kept us together. Then the rolls began flying! First time I’d ever been here and had a blast! The food was amazing and hot...came out super fast. Our waitress hit it out of the park. If you walk out of here hungry you did something wrong. We arrived right as they opened so there wasn’t a wait but I noticed that it quickly filled up so you should try to arrive early if you don’t like to wait. Plenty of parking and easy on off access of HWY 65. I will be back for sure!

A must experience! Giant rolls being thrown at you, giant big gulp cups, certain sides are bottomless, huge portions, great atmosphere and service. Our first time checking this place out and I’m so glad we did. The food was great...definitely home style cooking. Highly recommend the chicken fried chicken and the pineapple walnut salad. Definitely will be back!

This is one of my favorite places to eat in America. There are only 3 restaurants in the U.S. , so for my family and I to eat at Lambert's we have to travel many miles to get one of the 3. I would have to say the Lambert's in Alabama is better. Better food quality, better service, etc. I had the steak when I ordered last. I would not recommend it because they do not season the meat at all so all you get is a cooked piece of meat. If you're gonna spend 25 dollars on a steak I would recommend going to your favorite steak house and getting one. But I do recommend trying Lambert's at least one time in your life

Obviously the food here is just amazing. The service is good. The table service "pass around" food makes this place unique. Then finally you know they throw the rolls. The only thing stopping the fifth star is the cleanliness. None of the surfaces feel "clean" and when you watch a table being bused there is zero attention to actually cleaning. Cleanliness be damned this place is awesome.
