I usually eat dinner late unless I go to places like this. But I went late last night. It was not busy at all. I always wonder about empty restaurants. Questions run through my head like do the locals know something I don't? Are they crazy expensive? Are there health department issues.? I don't think Applebees has problems like that, just a slow night. I liked my whiskey burger and cocktail. I don't remember what my friend had, but she thought it was so so. I would recommend trying them if you never have. I've heard they're good with ribs.

The food was good, the waitress was very attentive. But as Seniors my group would have preferred to be seated in chairs rather than in a booth. Because the booths sits so low, and trying to scoot around so that everyone could get in the booth was a little nerve wrecking

Consistency is the object of chains, so they achieve that. Standardized food yet pretty tasty. Clean, pretty nice. If you've seen one, you've seen them all.

Their carside service is TERRIBLE! I have used it 3 times, the first two times I had to wait an extra 15 minutes for my food. Tonight was a nightmare. After no service and confusion, it took an HOUR AND A HALF to get our food. We had already paid online, so couldn't "walk out". They acknowledged their problem with a letter about our next visit. When he got home, everything was super cold/soggy, and we live 3 minutes away. The receipt had been printed an hour prior. We were missing onion rings, blue cheese, and pickles. I immediately called to let the manager know and was on hold for 23 minutes before I hung up.

Poor service and bland food. What else would you expect from this dying franchise?
