One word.. Two syllables... Ponchos. Their masa puffy chips and taco shells are unlike many places in Scottsbluff..and pretty much any other place in the Midwest that I've been too. Hot sauce is liquid gold.Living in Lincoln I crave this place, and always make it in while in town.

I recently came to this restaurant as part of a birthday party. We were seated in the back rooms for that. Otherwise I’ve tried to avoid coming here as past experiences here (2 or 3) were not good. Food wasn’t up to par for me and one of the other times my date and I waited 10 minutes or more to even get drinks. Then not sure how much longer before we just up and left. So upon this visit I was mostly opened minded but not expecting much. The waitress firstly seemed annoyed to have to deal with the large party. The options on the menu seemed pretty basic. And then we got our food which again wasn’t very good. The enchiladas were tiny and the sauce on them wasn’t tasty. The beans runny. Food not as ordered for some. With so many other Mexican restaurants around there’s just too many better options than this place. The place looks much nicer after recent remodeling but I think the food can do with an overhaul. They say it’s authentic but to me it doesn’t hit the spot. Perhaps I’ll try some different items in the future in hopes of finding what keeps this place semi popular.

Food Overpriced and disgusting! NO meat in beef dishes. And be prepared to pay $10 for chips and salsa, otherwise complimentary at any other Mexican restaurant!!!!!!!!! Staff didn't care about our complaint
