Food is so amazing. "Pricey" but worth the purchase! The brats, one of each with sauerkraut was so tasty. The staff was so nice and happy! Love coming here when I'm craving german food. Goulash soup was also a good side. The cabbage a close second.

Best authentic German food in Omaha. Staff are friendly, beer is delicious, food is tasty and filling. Get Gerda's special and you'll get a good overview of the selection. The goulash soup is rich thick hearty and satisfying. One of my favorite little Omaha places.

Great place. The smell inside was so inviting. The schnitzel and corned beef with cabbage were absolutely delicious. But the best part of dinner? The apple streudel!

Being from Kansas City, every time we travel to Omaha, Gerda's for dinner is a must. We usually call because they have been full around dinner time. The bakery does not disappoint! From doughnuts to cakes, everything is filled with sweet authenticity. When visiting friends and family, a dozen pastries or so, from Gerda's, guarantees a warm welcome and possibly an extended stay.

Good food and and they have awesome German beer selection I haven’t them since Germany. Some of the best desserts around! I hate beets but the waitress had me sample theirs and it is my favorite side I have never tasted anything quite like it! Very nice and cozy. *Hint park in the lot to the east you have to walk only a 1/4 block but much more safe than backing out onto Leavenworth!
