The people at Petrow's are so nice and welcoming. The day we went was the first day that they had opened their patio, which is dog-friendly. The food is fresh, home-cooked and served in generous portions. Several of the staff came out to great our dogs and us. They made sure that the dogs had their own fresh water bowl and were not opposed to us sharing with our fur babies. We will definitely visit again to sample their delicious breakfast menu.

This is a good place. It's like that old time diner your grand parents used to go to when you were a kid, but cleaned up and modernized. The food was in the top five of casual diners in Omaha. With a staff that was friendly and attentive, it showed they were really trying to please. I just like the place, its style is dying out in the world but the place is top notch for all the right reasons. You go there and just know that the food is going to be done right. I'd love to give a short story about how something was wrong with my dinner there and how the management made it right but I can't...there was nothing wrong with my entire experience there. It's not open Sundays but that's charming in a way and everyone needs a break sometime. Go here, you will love the food and find a place that is an oasis of civility in our constantly running world.

Food was not bad. I would recommend the "bang bang" shrimp for sure! My friend's salad came out warm. Our waitress kept messing things up and was slow. Mind you, the place was not busy and many of the servers were just standing around and talking. Overall for the first time experience, it wasn't bad but the service could have been better. Will I go back? Yes because they deserve a second chance...and the "bang bang" shrimp was to die for!!

Had great specials. I got a chicken fried steak meal that included a salad and a glass of wine for 12.99. My wife had the pot roast special for 11.99. Then we had a giant brownie Sunday. All in including a generous tip we were under 40 Nick's. Good date night place.

Well maintained and established facility with very attentive waiters and reasonable prices; however, the diner-style food was not remarkable. I visited there today for the first time and broke a tooth on the not so tender Pork Tenderloin entree. My side of coleslaw had limited taste and an abundance of a thin milky dressing. Also, the restaurant's online menu did not note the extras that are included with specialty sandwich, etc. menu selections.
