We were promptly seated, but waited for about 15 minutes for our drink order to be taken. The waitress took the food order at the same time as the drinks. She brought the appetizer and everything was fine. The main dish was good and she checked on us more than once or twice. When we were finished with our meal, we wanted dessert. Instead of asking if she could get us anything else, she brought us the ticket. We told her what we wanted and waited another 10 minutes or so for it. She came back to say that they were out of chocolate chip cookies and have us a choice of others. She brought one dessert with two spoons and we had to tell her they we wanted TWO of them. She went back to the kitchen and made a second one. After a little while she came back to the table and said she only charged us for one of them. Good thing bc for just two people it was close to $50

I have been to this one many times and it's always been a good place to sit down and eat a nice meal. There is a room with doors to have a birthday party, or whatever. Also a separate area for the bar. Not a big one, mind you, just so big. Tables and or booths are easy to sit in. Usually, the specials are very goodn and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, they did away with their free piece of pie on Monday's. Waitresses are friendly and helpful, with good service. So, all in Allan just a good place to have a meal, whether it be breakfast at 8 p.m. or a good ham steak.

Food was great. Waitress was friendly but think because we were sat towards end of her shift overwhelmed. Was kinda forgetful. Do recommend their bakery goodies to go!!

Good food. Old restaurant. Good staff tonight. One lady even seated us and she had not clocked in yet, but my 85 yr. old mother was getting agitated at our having to wait to be seated. So Thank you for your quick attention ma'am, (don't know her name).
