Their site says that they take reservations. Called on a Friday to confirm this was true before making plans. Called Saturday evening to make the reservation, no one answered the phone over a 3 hour period. Called Sunday morning to try again. Now I'm told they no longer accept reservations. Figured we'd proceed with plans and meet here. We were all coming in from out of town. We arrived to "put our name in" and see what the wait time would be. After waiting at the hostess stand for 10-15 minutes with no one checking on the guests waiting in line, I asked to speak to the hostess. I was curious what their process was and what the estimate would be. We expected a wait, that wasn't an issue. But there was no communication. Just a bunch of people standing around in the lobby area with no idea what was going on. I was told that there was no list and it would be 25 minutes before anyone would be seated. Who exactly, I don't know. But oh, the kitchen is also way backed up. Looking around the dining area, there were several tables where the diners appeared to be "done". They looked more than ready to go, trying to pay their bill. There were many more tables empty, waiting to be bused. We bailed. I can't review the food, we never got past the front door.

Where do I start? The hamburgers were all over cooked waited an eternity for the shake and malt. The malt was good the strawberry shake had no flavor and thin as water. All of which I was willing to over look. But announcing my total so that the whole dining room could hear was one of the rudest experience I've had. When I walk into a restaurant the server is guaranteed a 20% tip at least. The 5 I did tip was difficult.

A pleasant surprise. We stopped at this restaurant for lunch on Sunday. The service was very fast and our waiter was polite and professional. The chicken fried steak was really good and the salad bar was very well kept, everything on the salad bar seemed home made. They had 4 different types of soup that were all home made. A nice meal with good service.

Our FIRST time visiting - we WILL be Back too! You can tell in EVERY Bite, the folks here CARE about the good food they serve as well. A "must try" if ever in the area and they are open. Slim on Truck parking, but the SAPP Bros. truck stop next door worked great for us!!! Keep doing what you do here folks- thanks again!

Not only is the food mediocre (that's putting it nicely) but the over an hour wait definitely made it clear to us they don't care too much about their guests. And we thought maybe it would improve each time we went. Nope, stayed exactly the same. Oh, and let's not forget the incredibly rude staff! That's what totally made our day! On top of threatening the customers with calling the police when they're trying to simply pay their bill. Don't recommend this place to anybody who has any sort of respect for themselves.
