OK breakfast place, marred by an inconsistent kitchen that didn't seem to be trying. Three of us ate there this morning; two of us ordered the same "American Breakfast," two eggs with sausage, potatoes, and bread. I and one of my companions ordered eggs over easy. Both plates were delivered with hard yolks. One plate had nicely browned home fried potatoes, but mine were more like boiled, cut to be browned, but not browned. And no onions with the potatoes! Sausage was typical bland packaged stuff. On request, my eggs were re-cooked, and were closer to what I ordered. The one saving grace was the bread -- I chose wheat, and it was wonderful. All the stars are for the bread.

I really enjoy this place. The food is good, there are healthy options and generous portions. The deserts are amazing, I recommend their rhubarb pie. The atmosphere is nice-circa grandma's house 1920 Cottage Chic and service is good. Think modern Fried Green Tomatos only classier. They should consider expanding their drink list to include basic lattes and espresso drinks. It gets busy here, sometimes there may be a wait.

We ate lunch at the Courtyard Cafe today in Fallon. It was wonderful. The Ribeye sandwiches were to die for. The Pecan pie we brought home for my husband was fabulous. Please open up a cafe in Carson City.... We will make you a regular on our Fallon trips. See you soon...

Came by for a quick bite during lunch. Was seated and served within 10min. Ordered the French Dip w/ cheese and mushrooms. It's was delish and their portions are very generous. Looking forward to coming back for some baked goods. Would definitely recommend this place.

Food is usually pretty good....once you get it. Wait time is slow, and once seated, there is still a wait. We come here at least once a week. Have seen customers come in, get seated, and after 10 minutes with no service, they walked out. NOT good. Some of the servers are wonderful , and then there are a few who should'nt work there...attitude!
