First off there is 1 server on the floor with 9 tables of sailor starving and 1 cook. The corn bread was garbage. Had more than 1 person try it and everyone spit it out. The mozzarella sticks were almostinedible. They were so hard it wasn't even funny. They also have no marina sauce. Who the hell has mozzarella sticks without marina sauce??? Pancakes had no butter and were like saw dust in your mouth. The hash browns were barely cooked all the way through. Worst restaurant that I have EVER EVER been to and I will never be back.

I went to Jerry's because I was hungry...bad move. Oh, this isn't the first time that I've experienced inconsistent food, aloof waitresses, an air of "take it or leave it" in the kitchen, or the promise that a waitress would be "right back" with my drink - three times - before standing there a fourth with another excuse handy. No, two nights ago I went in and ordered a sandwich...the waitress came back about 20 minutes later to tell me that their printer hadn't printed the orders on time, and therefore, the kitchen didn't get the order. It would be out in "a minute." I started to look around at the 40 minute mark. There I was, sitting there with my Sprite, waiting and waiting and waiting...until the waitress returned again. "They made you the wrong sandwich," she said. They were correcting it - over an hour after I sat down. I just stared past her with a blank look on my face and said, "I'm leaving." She said, "Sorry, have a nice evening." I'm pretty sure Jerry's is going to go on as it has been, because it's just about the only game in town with a 24-hr presence - but if it were up to me, not only would I not patronize it anymore - it would literally be the last place on earth I would sit down to eat at. And the sad part about this dive is, nobody would give a damn. Jerry's could be a good restaurant, but I just think it will probably never be one, because quite frankly, there are no adults in the room, or leaders at the helm - there's just a fog of disconnectedness and apathy so thick, you could cut it with a knife.

Horrible service. Waited a hour and a half the night before and didn’t get my food. Thought I’d try it for breakfast and same thing. Waited for a hour and a half and still no food. Staff is confused, the cooks are confused. Only recommend if you don’t mind waiting for food for hours. If you even get the food.

Of all the restaurants I have been to in my life, this one is unquestionably dead last. Frozen vegetables were microwaved and submerged in a bowl of melted ice. No seasoning, no flavor. Waiter refused to bring back the menu when I wanted to show him what was supposed to be included with the meal. He just wanted to fight. I decided to leave without eating. The waitress felt bad and gave me some of their mashed potatoes and gravy they are known for. They are proud of the burned gravy? I decided to go back and get the entre rather than throwing away good meat. Too late. A swarm of flies was already taking off with it. If you are hungry in this town, and cannot get on base to eat, do yourself a favor and starve.

People who are saying this place is like Denny's are nuts. The only thing the two have in common is they are both diners. This is an old school diner with excellent, home style foods. It's full of locals and they seat you in a booth without having to ask because one is available and it's the polite thing to do. The pot roast was tender and flavorful and the gravy not over seasoned. The grilled turkey sandwich was made with fresh roasted turkey, and the club sandwich was light and fresh. The fries actually tasted like potato, and were very crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The milkshake was old school thick and creamy and the pie was great. This place has there for for over 50 years for a reason.
