I have always loved to go to Beto's. I'm now living in Mexico, but back in Reno for a few weeks. The first place I go is to Beto's, love the opportunity to get some good food and be with the nice people who work at Beto's.

Beto's is a long-time favorite in Reno. It's almost always packed during the lunch and dinner hours. I really like the food they serve. And it's one of the few places that serve grilled Serrano peppers as a side. The food seems really authentic, which is what I like about it. The staff are fine, not always too friendly, but they get the job done. If it's busy, don't forget to get everything you need the first time at the counter because you may not find it easy to get someone's attention once you sit down to eat. I'm not saying it's impossible but it can be challenging. Parking can be a hassle, as the parking lot isn't big enough and parking on the street is often crowded. It's doable, just know that you may have to hunt around for a minute. Be aware also that the bathroom is located outside, which isn't a big deal but it can be unpleasant, and doesn't feel real safe going out there at night, as the lighting isn't good. Overall, I like Beto's, and from what I can tell, slot of other people do too.

I got the wet burrito combination plate. It was delicious. It had a side of beans and rice. The beans tasted homemade. My bf got the nacho supreme it wasnt worth the amount of money. Barely had any meat on it. But the cheese on top of it was delicious. We also played extra for the chips and salsa it was worth the 1.50 for them. Horchata was super good I will definitely come back and try the rest of the menu. It does get busy and there is a wait to place order but they bring your food out really fast.

Beto's ROCKS! I love authentic Mexican food. And I'm really simple when it comes to ordering Mexican Food. I either get a bean n cheese burrito or rolled tacos and those 2 things are at standard Mexican Restaurants that are strategically placed amongst San Diego. Hence, I'm pretty picky about authentic Mexican Restaurants. I simply Love Beto's!! Their bean and cheese burrito is so darn delicious with them using a white cheese, perhaps Jack cheese? And they aren't shy about the amount of cheese they dish out! Beto's is a great place for lunch but get there early because the line can go out the door! The only disappointing thing about Beto's is that they don't offer hot carrots, preferably soft ones!! That's my only complaint!! Treat yourself to Beto's!!
