Their tacos with their homemade tortillas are amazing. The service was really friendly and great prices too!

Some of the best tasting authentic food in all of Winnemucca. Fact I've had Mexican food all over and and it's really good

If I could give 0 Stars I would. I was actually looking forward to it because all the 5 star reviews before me...but the food had no flavor and was COLD!!! Not even luke warm. We didn't complain much. But then the waitress started sweeping the dining room all around our table. By that time we were done with the facility. The bathroom didn't even have hand soap or toilet seat covers, and there was some strange red liquid dripping down the walls.....we should have spent the extra money and went to Chihuahua bar and grill I'm sure they would have exceeded expectations. Definitely not "authentic". They should be ashamed to claim that title.

We got dinner to go from El Mono during a recent stopover in Winnemucca. We were staying across the street at the Frontier Motel. The young lady who waited on us was super nice and the restaurant was relatively clean. When I looked more closely at the bill, I notice they double-charged us for a small order of chips and salsa. *doh!* Still - if given the chance, I'd eat here again. Their home-made corn tortillas are da bomb!
