This place has the most delicious fries. I LOVE them. It's also a great lunch deal. The food is good, if not ingenious, the natural light is very nice, and the prices are very reasonable. I do wish they had some soundproofing as the concrete floor and metal ceiling can get a bit loud even with relatively few people. There is also something slightly weird about the ambiance, but I can't put my finger on it. And it's certainly not enough to distract me from the legendary garlic fries.

The atmosphere was very calming and romantic. The waiter was extremely friendly and jovial. The food was so beautiful and tasted amazing. I ordered seared chicken breast meal, and it was delicious. For dessert I had a frozen chocolate mousse with raspberry sauce. If I didn't already like chocolate I would have as soon as I tasted that scrumptious dessert. I definitely want to come back again sometime.

The restaurant has a contemporary and elegant decor. The food was good and service was pleasant. The menu choices are well balanced with a couple of vegan (or easily adjusted) dishes. The place has a bar but no beer taps for those looking to indulge in a local craft brew. It is well worth checking out. Also their garlic fries are a staple not to be missed.

We got the cheese platter as an appetizer and it was a nice spread. I ordered the duck confit and my boyfriend for theeatloaf. But were good! I actually liked the meatloaf, it had a bit of ginger in it with a sort of soy sauce. The desert of the night was a pound cake with a layer of blueberries in it, a layer of strawberry buttercream and topped with a cherry glaze. Very filling. We sat at the bar, as it was a Saturday before Mothers Day and graduation dinners are going on, and we had no reservation (about 5:05 - they're open for dinner at 5). But Gary was PHENOMENAL and SO sweet! Was a bit expensive, however. Was a nicer restaurant, the servers wore black slacks, button downs, shoes and aprons.

Wow. Best restaurant I went to while in Vermont. The charcuterie was AMAZING, the salmon was so so tender & flavorful & to finish the meal their bread pudding was the best I've ever had. So nutmeg-y and vanilly... mmm ... melts in your mouth
