Staff was very friendly though they had a busy Friday and lots of people. No issues with servers or food, all came out fast, good service. The food was mediocre, but it was fine, our group enjoyed our time and location. Also, affordable compared to other restaurants in Portsmouth.

This place is very cute and right downtown. The outdoor seating area was very nice. I got the clam chowder to start and wow was the taste there BUT I could not eat it all. It was extremely chunky from all the clams they put in the soup. Never had a clam chowder like that and I hope I never will again. I then got steak frites. That was delicious with the Gorgonzola cheese. The fries were just okay-not a lot of flavor. Overall it was a nice place to go but I wasn’t over the top impressed by it.

Myself and two of my friends went for dinner around 6:30. Not busy at all, which was great! We got right in. Food was very good but service was ridiculously slow. Three different people waited on us, brought the wrong food and mixed up our bills. Not worth your time or money.

Food is really mediocre in my opinion. The items were cooked thoroughly but the flavors were really mild, almost non-existent. We ordered the gnocchi appetizer, cauliflower bites, and truffle tries and the cauliflower bites had the most flavor and had a nice texture. (probably a major factor to get a 3 star instead of less). The gnocchi was cooked well, but I did not care for the sauce or the garnishes; zero taste. The fries were the biggest disappointment; they were soggy and limp and you had very little taste of truffle. The drink were pretty decent though and reasonably price and if I were to return it would probably just be to have some good cheap draft beers or cocktails without emptying my wallet.

Fun little shopping district that was very walkable and loaded with restaurants and boutique shops! Had a great time and Portsmouth should be proud of its historical downtown area with all the charm and history in this New England Seaport.
