Considering the limited options on the Island of Brigantine, it’s hard not to end up at Cellar 32. However, the service is consistently bad, and the food is consistently mediocre. The prices are higher than what you would pay at a nice restaurant in New York City. Typically when I have visited Cellar 32, I sat at the bar and rarely did I get serviced by a bartender in a reasonable amount of time. I don't know if the location is understaffed or if the bartenders can't manage their own time, but getting water, a drink or a menu takes a long time. Regarding quality, if you are buying a bottled drink like beer or wine, you'll likely be fine, but a mixed drink is usually not poured well. I've ordered beverages like an Olde Fashioned and wasn't even able to drink it. An Olde Fashioned is one of the most basic drinks any competent bartender should be able to make.

Honestly not the best experience. They forgot to give half of our table their drinks. It took them an hour and 15 minutes to bring out our food. They only refilled our waters once. They find forgot to make someone’s meal. However, the food was pretty good and the staff was really nice.

Came here for lunch on St Patty’s Day. This place has packaged goods (liquor) for take out and is opened late. Staff is NOT friendly but the local people were very welcoming. Place had an eclectic menu with a great variety of food. Not just the typical bar menu either. One of the BIGGEST ISSUES with this place is the OVER TAN bartender (FEMALE) who copped an attitude and actually made several RUDE comments. She also was making RUDE comments to a customer about other patrons in the bar as well. Not a very welcoming place- would advise to spend your $$$ elsewhere. Funny, was happy with this place until the rude bartender made the above referenced nasty comments. NOT what one wants to hear when you are spending money at their establishment. Guess it’s tough to accept the fact you are a washed up old stripper who has lost her looks and is now working at some Slower Jersey Dive bar. Ugh- go spend your money somewhere else.

The Cellar 32 is a small pub with good pub food. Got the French Onion and Buffalo Chicken sandwich. The Buffalo chicken was nice and hot but was chicken chunks not a Patty but was still good. Waitress was very nice and attentive. Food was moderately price for what you got but the cellar is a bit cramped.

Nice atmosphere, prices very reasonable for a tourist town. Service was exceptional.
