Splendid dinner and service for our party of seven on a recent weekday evening. Wait staff, upon request, assisted selection for our mixed party of vegetarian and omnivores. As others have mentioned, food can be staged through a relaxing, extended time. We loved every dish, and the house-mixed sangria was enjoyed and finished. Easily a place to go back to and a confident recommendation to others.

What a wonderful place to share food with your family and friends. Their food is great. Every dish we had was perfectly prepared and super tasty. They have two plate sizes, small and large. The small is perfect for 2-3 people to share. The large we were able to stretch out so that all 9 of us got a taste. We ordered about 10 different items, all large plates and doubled up on 2 dishes based on the waitresses recommendation. Ask the waitress to control the order and pace of the dishes coming out. This way everything is hot when you eat it instead of all the dishes coming out at once and sitting around. They are a BYOB but will make you some great sangria with either the red or white wines you bring. Make sure you try it. For dessert we ordered one of each (6 items). On;y one size here but it was enough for all 9 of us to share. Only negative is the place is long and narrow so the noise volume is very high. Wasn't a problem for us as we generated a lot of noise ourselves.

I had to wait to get home, on my laptop, to write a great review of Xunta. Having 10+ years in the food industry, I always favor places where everything is fresh, nothing from a can: Xunta is one of those places. The "wedding" soup was rich, and I hate soup. The patata bravas were crisp and melt in your mouth. Octopus was legit, cooked correctly, and Im very very picky. Mussels were easily the most tender I've ever had. Balance was the key to all the plates. Nothing overpowering, aside from the papata bravas, which didn't matter cuz you're not going to stop eating them. Croquettes & empanada were delightful. A stark change from the normal recipes, but again, balanced and oh so flavorful. All and all - I was very happy with all the flavors, and happy with the amount given. Its worth it. And I hope Xunta stays in the area for 20 years, becoming a staple. They're worth it. Oh I forgot. The sangria was legit. BYOB wine. It might come out a little sweet, but still legit.

BYOB. Very nice selection, we shared an assortment of Tappas for a group of four and enjoyed our dinner. A little noisey. Reservations suggested. Helpful staff. Worth a try.
